Description
Civil parish. Hundred of Penwith to 1834. Penzance Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Penzance Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. West Penwith Rural District, 1894-1974. Penwith District, 1974-2009. Hayle and St Ives Community Network, 2009-present. The parish lost 442 acres, including the areas surrounding Rosewall and Bussow, to the parish of St Ives in 1934.
