Description
Ecclesiastical parish. Hundred of Pydar. The parish was, until the 1820s, divided into Padstow Town and Padstow-in-Rure. Padstow Town belonged to the Archdeaconry of Cornwall and the Deanery of Pydar, whereas Padstow-in-Rure was a Peculiar of the Bishop of Exeter and belonged to the Deanery of Pawton.
