Description
Civil parish. Hundred of Penwith to 1834. Redruth Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Redruth Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. Redruth Rural District, 1894-1934. The parish was abolished in 1934 and merged with Gwithian to create the parish of Gwinear-Gwithian.
Cornwall Parliamentary Constituency, 1209 to 1832. West Parliamentary Division, 1832-1885. Camborne Parliamentary Division, 1885-1934.
