Description

Civil parish. Hundred of Kerrier to 1834. Redruth Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Redruth Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. Redruth Rural District, 1894-1934; Truro Rural District, 1934-1974. Carrick District, 1974-2009. Camborne, Pool and Redruth Community Network, 2009-present. The parish was reduced by 2971 acres in 1934 when part was taken to create part of the parish of Camborne-Redruth. Further parts were taken to create the parishes of St Day, Lanner and Carharrack.

Cornwall Parliamentary Constituency, 1209 to 1832. West Parliamentary Division, 1832-1885. Camborne Parliamentary Division, 1885-1948. Falmouth and Camborne Parliamentary Constituency, 1948-2010. Truro and Falmouth Parliamentary Constituency, 2010-present.
