Description
Civil parish. Hundred of Penwith to 1834. Penzance Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Penzance Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. West Penwith Rural District, 1894-1934. The parish was abolished in 1934 with parts transferred to the parishes of Ludgvan, 336 acres, Madron, 3,680 acres, and Penzance, 342 acres.
