Description

Civil parish. Hundred of Pydar to 1834. St Columb Major Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. St Columb Major Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. St Columb Major Rural District, 1894-1934; Truro Rural District, 1934-1974. Carrick District, 1974-2009. St Agnes and Perranporth Community Network, 2009-present. The parish was enlarged in 1934 by 909 acres due to the abolition of the parish of Crantock Rural.
