Description

Civil parish. Hundred of Penwith to 1834. Redruth Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Camborne Urban Sanitary District, 1875-1894. Camborne Urban District, 1894-1934. The parish was abolished in 1934 and the area transferred, along with Redruth and parts of the parishes of Illogan, Gwennap and Wendron, to the newly created parish of Camborne-Redruth. In 1985 this parish was abolished and the parish of Camborne was recreated. Kerrier District, 1985-2009. Camborne, Pool and Redruth Community Network, 2009-present.
