Description
Civil parish. Hundred of Kerrier to 1832. Helston Poor Law Union, 1834-1930. Helston Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. Helston Rural District, 1894-1934, then Kerrier Rural District, 1934-1974. Kerrier District, 1974-2009. Helston and The Lizard Community Network, 2009-present. The parish was reduced by 138 acres in 1934 to enlarge the parish of Helston.
