Description
Civil parish. Hundred of Trigg to 1834. Part in Bodmin Poor Law Union, 1834-1930, part in Bodmin Municipal Borough, this latter part being used to form the civil parish of Bodmin Borough in 1866. Bodmin Rural Sanitary District, 1875-1894. Bodmin Rural District, 1894-1934. In 1934 the remainder of the parish was abolished, with 2,902 acres being used to create the civil parish of Bodmin Rural, the remainder, 515 acres, being transferred to the parish of Bodmin Borough. The present civil parish was then recreated in 1974. North Cornwall District, 1974-2009. Bodmin Community Network, 2009-present.
