Bodmin Borough (Civil Parish)
Description
Civil parish. Created in 1866 from part of Bodmin civil parish. Bodmin Municipal Borough, 1866-1974. Bodmin Poor Law Union, 1866-1930. Bodmin Urban Sanitary District, 1875-1894. The parish was enlarged by 515 acres in 1934 when the civil parish of Bodmin was abolished. The parish of Bodmin Borough was abolished in 1974 and the area used to recreate part of the parish of Bodmin.
