Ecclesiastical parish. In the Archdeaconry of Cornwall until 1878 and thereafter in the Archdeaconry of Bodmin. Deanery of Trigg Minor. The parishes of Blisland and Temple were abolished in 1972 to help create the modern parish of Blisland with Temple, though this modern parish is currently called the parish of Blisland. The parish is a United Benefice with St Breward.
