Ecclesiastical parish. In the Archdeaconry of Cornwall until 1878 and thereafter in the Archdeaconry of Bodmin. Deanery of East Wivelshire. Part of the parish was taken to create the modern parish of Torpoint in 1821. Previous to this Torpoint was a chapelry to Antony. Antony is now a United Benefice with Sheviock.
